Joan E. Leanos has been a CPA since 1980. She started her firm in 1981. After receiving a BS in Finance at the University of Maryland in 1975, she was awarded a Master of Science in Taxation from American University in Washington, D.C. in 1993. She is a member of the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants. Ms. Leanos has over 30 years experience in the preparation of individual and business tax returns, as well as representation before the IRS.
A third generation Annapolitan, Ms. Leanos comes from a family of small business owners. Her grandfather Jim Leanos founded and operated Jim’s Corner Restaurant in 1920 located in Annapolis. The tradition continues.
